We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Translator/Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages, ensuring that messages are accurately conveyed. This role requires proficiency in multiple languages, including the ability to interpret and translate spoken and written content. A strong understanding of linguistics and cultural nuances is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents and materials from one language to another with a high degree of accuracy.
• Interpret spoken conversations in real-time, ensuring clear communication between parties.
• Utilize American Sign Language (ASL) when necessary to assist clients who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication strategies are implemented.
• Stay updated on industry terminology and cultural trends to enhance translation quality.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and tools.

Skills

• Strong linguistic skills with the ability to interpret and translate effectively across various languages.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities, allowing for effective communication with diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
